Served from 1966-1972 when it was HMM-771 then HML-771. Would love to hear from some of the older guys like, Mercurio, Manion, Milchuns, Burnce, Foley, Bill "what's his name, cousin was Ruth Buzzy" and the others that I can't remember their names. LOL

I was with HML-771 from 1975 -1981 then went active (HMA-169) form 1981 -1989. When HML-771 went to Okinawa (1987)it was in place of 169 and we went on the USS Okinawa to the Persian Gulf. I understand you guys did a great job!

I'm signing this guestbook, because I'm trying to find out if anyone has any contact information for a MGySgt Jose Centeio. I'm a member of the AFJROTC, and a Young Marine, and last night after an awards banquet I received a Marine Corps coin with his name on it. And I didn't get the chance to thank him for it, and because my plans are to become a United States Marine Officer, it meant more to me than he might have imagined. If anyone has any information to which I can contact him by please email me at kristineracicot@yahoo.com. Thank You, Kristine Racicot.

I was qmember of the BEST USMCR unit there ever was.I enlisted on 07.12.75 and was discharged on 02.16.85. The best 9yrs.7mos. 4dys. Iwas in the hydrolic shop. Two of the memorable cartesters, I mean sterling leading NCOS I served under were SSG William Ravgalla and SSG Louis Cedrone Im not sure if I haqve the correct spellings of the names??) But "RAV" was from NH and "LOU" had a brother Steve who was in the unit at the same time. They were both MST's.Ihave a alubum of some AT's. Have made contact with Paul Jennings, thats how I found this site. It's nice to see the best have not been foregoten or lost. SEMPER FI avation translated "SIMPLE FLY"

I proudly served with HML-771 from 1978 to 1980 when I returned to active duty. Great bunch of folks, I'm happy there is a place to reconnect. I have a bunch of pix, several from the Marine Corps balls. I will get them together, and figure out where to send them.

I was a squadron pilot from 1983 to 1986. We did Yuma, 29 Palms, and night vision ops at Cherry Point those years. Remember Frank Cuddy (who wouldn't), Mike Ford, Walt Burzinski, Steve Lavinio, Ken McPhee, others. Crew Chief was always Jack...something. Have pictures -- tell me where to send.

Ralph McInnes was a good guy, with a dry sense of humor and wit. No doubt the earth will be a poorer place with Ralph no longer with us. I will always remember the card games. God bless you Ralph, fair winds and high tides.
